Position:
Kitchen Designer Level II
The Kitchen Guild has an
excellent opportunity for an
experienced Kitchen
Designer with strong sales and
client service skills.
Responsibilities include
meeting with prospective
clients to explore client
needs and prepare design
documents, for plans for
kitchens, baths, home
theaters, and home office
remodeling projects, while working with our
installation teams to bring the designs to
life.
Successful candidates should
be able to hand draft
and will preferably have some
2020 or chief architect experience.
A BS/BA in Interior Design is
preferred but not required. A
positive attitude is a must.

Position:
Showroom Manager
The
Kitchen Guild has a unique opportunity for a candidate
to earn an income while training to become an Interior
or Kitchen Designer.
Over the initial one-year training program, the candidate will manage
the showroom, coordinate materials ordering and receiving, manage phone and showroom traffic and accomplish other administrative projects and tasks as assigned by the firm's management. After three months, the candidate will begin
a training program starting kitchen design, bath design, hand-drafting and computer-aided design techniques.

| Position:
Carpenter Trainee The
Kitchen Guild has an excellent opportunity for a Handyman/Materials Manager in the
Washington D.C. marketplace. Responsibilities include light remodeling (pull and replace) projects, and other home repair type projects. In addition, the successful candidate will assist Lead Carpenters with demo, rough-in and finish carpentry and remodeling projects.
Successful candidates should be able to work with kitchen and bath designers, read and implement design plans/drawings and work within deadlines for each job. The successful candidate should possess carpentry and drywall skills. Tile skills are a plus. Excellent communication and customer service skills are an absolute must.
Lead Carpenters and Design Staff will provide training and guidance, and it is anticipated that the successful candidate will train to become a Lead Carpenter with the firm.
Benefits include above-market hourly pay ($14 to $18 per hour) plus bonuses, tool and gas allowance, job bonuses based on client satisfaction, 401k Retirement Plan, Flexible Spending Plan as well as a number of paid holidays and vacation days. Must have tools and transportation.
